So what, I'm a human, I need lots of things to protect myself from the creepy crawlies that go bump in the night, it's not like I have claws or super speed or fangs or otherworldly powers to fight, I'm just a squishy bloodbank and meal to everyone else, I NEED these


Name: Retractable Claws

Description: These two retractable blades which are ever present on Leon’s fists. They are necessary for Leon to protect himself at a moment’s notice when attacked preemptively. They are short in length so are only useful in point blank, hand to hand combat. Each one’s blades are lined with silver so that they can do more harm to werewolves. While not enough to do the greatest of harm possible like with a full silver weapon, the lining allows for a bypass of the werewolf’s extraordinary physical resistances.
History: There is not much history surrounding these blades of the Hunter. They are mostly standard issue among the enclave. They were created in the mid 18th century by a sect of the hunters wishing to find a way to fight the werewolves more efficiently in close combat situations. What better way they thought then to mimic the claws of said creature.

Name: Dual Combat Knives

Description: These two knives are of medium length. They are sheathed separately each along one of Leon’s pant legs. They are weighted at the hilt making them ideal for throwing if necessary. Each one’s blades are lined with silver so that they can do more harm to werewolves. While not enough to do the greatest of harm possible like with a full silver weapon, the lining allows for a bypass of the werewolf’s extraordinary physical resistances.
History: These combat knives are among the many close range weapons that come as standard issue to many hunters. They were created to be a more reliable line of defense then the retractable claws. The hunters were trained to be able to fight efficiently with such weapons from a young age. Following an accident in which the knives failed to be of use to a hunter whom was fighting a werewolf that was keeping it’s distance, the decision was made to weight the hilts so that they would be reliable throwing knives as well.

Name: Dual Redeemers

Description: These are Leon’s main weapons, the dual redeemers. They are two large pistols that he keeps holstered on his body, underneath his jacket. They are steel plated and have ornate designs on them, made from silver. Each one has a cross on the side as well. The majority of the bullets are standard, except they are blessed in holy water so as to pack an extra “punch” to the unholy creatures that make up his prey. Since silver is hard to come by silver bullets for this gun are far and in between, except it is known for certain that Leon at least carries two clips-full at all times.
History: These pistols once belonged to Leon’s father. While they were at one time standard issue, he had them customized with extended clips, the silver designs, and refit with lighter materials to make them more maneuverable. Leon recovered them from his father's corpse following the massacre of his enclave.

Name: Vindicator

Description: The vindicator is mostly a double barrel shotgun with an ammo belt feed that allows for multiple shots to be fired before having to reload. The shells for the shotgun can vary from pellet or slug, depending on the situation; he carries belts for both in packs on his belt. The pellet shots have a wide spread and while not predominantly, do have some silver pellets among them. Attached to the top of the barrel is a crossbow attachment. However, this crossbow does not fire bolts, it is modified to fire large silver stakes at extremely high speeds. There are also three additional stakes in case the first one does not make its mark stored under the barrels. All of the shells and stakes are additionally blessed with holy water. While he will not always have it with him, it is usually slung across his back.
History:This weapon is most definitely not standard issue for the hunters. It is one of the most advanced and dangerous weapons that they can wield and is therefore reserved for the elite. It was crafted for the need to have a firearm useful in short range situations, and to combat creatures from afar as well. They are not cheap either; because of the high cost of forging the silver stakes it is difficult to make one or to find additional ammunition for the crossbow. As such hunters are forced to recover the stakes from their kills and reuse them.


Name: Grenade Belt

Description: The grenade belt, issued to leaders of hunter strike teams, is full of grenades that were made to assist in tactical situations. Among them are the flash bang, useful for blinding and deafening the enemy, however the user is not saved from the disorientation unless he is at a safe distance; it is also good at creating instant “sunlight“. The chemical grenade, a biological explosive which release a spore into the air that attacks the enemies nervous system; also dangerous to the user. The adhesive incendiary which can stick to an opponent or to any surface and explodes in a sea of intense flame. The smokescreen, useful for quick escapes or to create a diversion for the enemy. Finally, the fragmentation, the basic run of the mill grenade with a little extra punch, silver fragments present within that scatter as shrapnel when it detonates. Leon can only carry one of each of these at any time.
History: The grenade belt is a relatively recent addition to the hunter’s arsenal, only being implemented since the creation of such devices. They were first brought in to use in tactical scenarios in order to create an ideal situation for the hunter to make his kill, but as time went on and they became more advanced, the possibilities quickly became more widespread.


Name: Bladed Revolver

Description: These bladed revolvers which have their placed crossed on the back of Leon’s belt are the secondary gun type of the hunter. They are of a large caliber, but do not boast this with a long barrel, thus making them inaccurate at long range, but deadly at medium to short. On the bottom of the barrel are blades that can be flipped up to create a makeshift dagger, in addition to be used as a sort of bayonet. Each one’s blades are lined with silver so that they can do more harm to werewolves. While not enough to do the greatest of harm possible like with a full silver weapon, the lining allows for a bypass of the werewolf’s extraordinary physical resistances. The stock is attached to the butt my a swivel which allows for the grip style to be changed to increase comfort, or to make for better handling when in dagger mode. The slugs for these pistols are silver and hollow tipped, so thus can be filled with wolfs bane among other things to make them more effective.
History: The bladed revolvers were created to be a multipurpose backup weapon for the hunter. They could now easily both efficiently fight in short range and medium range combat efficiently. These were in fact the predecessor to the redeemers before more volatile firearms were created.
